I had the opportunity to meet Will and document his training over short but intense peroid of time while shooting at Jackson Wink MMA Academy in ABQ, NM.
Will was the very first fighter I became friends with following his "fight camp" for 2 weeks, later returning for his fight to cover the complete story of his EPIC story which we, covred in a Podcast yet to be released with his world renoun wresting coach.
This was a typical morning Conditioning session at a local High School in ABQ, NM where Will's TEAM (TOGETHER EVEYONE ACCOMPLISHES MORE).
TEAM is a concept I learned on the WALT DISNEY WORLD COLLEGE PROGRAM in 1998 @ DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM 4 month Internship.
The people you see in these shots SUPPORT Will in his quest to become the best Professional MMA Fighter he can be.
Enjoy the shots and more to come in this XPERIENCE!
Cheers,
s.
VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL
ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Valley High School is one of thirteen four-year comprehensive high schools in the Albuquerque Public School System and has served the students of the North Valley for over 50 years. It is a diverse ethnic and socioeconomic area with approximately 1200 students including some 200 special education students enrolled in neighborhood and District programs.
The Valley Academy was the first academic magnet high school established in APS.
Valley is proud of its cultural and ethnic diversity. Among our student body, you will find descendants of Albuquerque’s founding fathers, as well as those who have recently arrived in the United States.
There are several neighborhoods within our attendance area — Los Duranes, Los Griegos, Los Anayas, and Los Chaves — which are named for families whose ancestors settled here over 300 years ago. Streets bearing their names are dotted throughout the North Valley.
Their descendants presently represent Valley High students and staff.
